Pre-contractual information concerning online sales

(hereinafter referred to as “GLS-ONE”) provided by General Logistics Systems Austria GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “GLS”)

Please observe the following information:

1. The services provided by GLS via GLS-ONE – in particular, the options of producing parcel labels yourself and handing in the parcel at a GLS ParcelShop for forward conveyance and paying online – do not constitute binding offers. An enforceable contract entailing a payment obligation only comes into effect following completion of the following steps. GLS will always confirm that such a contract has come into effect by means of a separate email.

1.1 Select “Send parcels”.

1.2 Confirm the details you have entered by clicking on “Add to basket”.

1.3 Clicking on “Proceed to checkout”.

1.4 Enter the sender’s details and select a payment method, which includes entering your PayPal or credit card details.

1.5 Submit the declaration of consent in respect of the validity of the Special Terms and Conditions of GLS and consent to the use of data described in the GLS Privacy Policy.

1.6 Submit this pre-contractual information.

1.7 By clicking on “Buy now”, you are submitting a legally binding offer.

1.8 This offer will be accepted by GLS; in the event of an order that entails a payment obligation, the order will be accepted once the payment transaction has been successfully completed.

2. The text of the contract will not be saved by GLS.

3. Prior to clicking on “Buy now”, you can correct any errors made when entering the shipping details by amending the relevant information within your shopping basket. Within your shopping basket, you have the option of changing individual shipping details by clicking on “Edit”. By clicking on “Delete”, you can remove individual parcels and orders from your shopping basket.

4. Orders can be placed and contracts concluded in German and English.

5. For the key features of the GLS services offered, please consult the descriptions in the
shopping basket, especially with regard to parcel sizes and payment methods. Please note that this does not constitute a quality guarantee, but serves merely to satisfy the pre-contractual information obligations on the part of GLS.

6. For details of GLS, please refer to our imprint. If you have any questions or complaints, please contact our call centre on +43 059876 1000.

7. The prices quoted by GLS are final prices and include all taxes.

8. The contractually agreed charge is payable upon order. When you send your Austria-bound parcel at a GLS ParcelShop or from a Parcel Locker and that parcel arrives at the accepting depot by 5 p.m., it will usually be delivered to the consignee within 24 hours (standard delivery time) if it is a weekday. For the standard delivery time for shipments outside of Austria, please consult our website at standard delivery times .

In individual cases, however, delivery may be delayed for various reasons, such as
traffic-related issues on our main legs.

9. GLS accepts the following payment methods: credit card (Mastercard, Visa, AmEx) and PayPal.

10. If you conclude this agreement as a consumer, there is no right of cancellation due to the lack of applicability of the KSchG (Consumer Protection Act) and the FAGG (Distance and Off-Premises Transactions Act).
